Communications Internship
Compensation: Based on completion of work-based learning internship (up to $1000 a semester if all expectations are met)
This position requires the applicant to be enrolled at a technical college or university for program credit and approval of the course professor.
Expectations:
• 120 hours per semester/2 half days per week (TBD by the site supervisor and class schedule)
• Minimum of 8-10 tasks, which could include videos/social media posts produced per internship/per semester
• Other tasks as assigned by the site supervisor
At any time, the agreement may be terminated after consultation with the instructor and/or the Employability Programs Coordinator for due cause or unforeseen business conditions.
The Work-Based site shall conform to all federal, state, and local labor laws while providing the student with a variety of work-site experiences. Students will be accepted and assigned to sites without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, handicap, or disadvantage.
The Work-Based site shall provide an evaluation of the student after the experience.
