Care Professional (Caregiver)

What You'll Do
As a Care Professional, you will provide non-medical support that helps seniors maintain independence and dignity at home. Responsibilities may include:
Providing companionship and conversation
Assisting with walking and mobility
Preparing meals and cleaning up meal-related items
Medication and appointment reminders
Light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, linens, kitchen and bathroom cleaning)
Laundry assistance
Running errands or accompanying clients to appointments
Assistance with bathing, grooming, and toileting
Support for clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
Hospice care support
You will also:
Document daily activities and report changes in client conditions
Maintain communication with the office team and supervisors
Follow individualized care plans to ensure quality care

Additional Responsibilities
Participate in training and Care Professional meetings
Report hours according to office policy
Update client information in the client system
Provide transportation for clients when needed using your vehicle or a client’s vehicle
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
Requirements
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach
Valid driver’s license
Valid auto insurance
Ability to work in various home environments
Commitment to treating clients and their homes with dignity and respect
