The Auxiliary Summer Ambassador Will Work As Part Of a Team Alongside Fellow Ambassadors And Staff Members To Support Summer Orientation Sessions By
• Engaging with new students to answer questions and facilitate discussions about Auxiliary Services
• Assisting in the preparation and execution of orientation activities and materials
• Educating attendees on the operations and benefits of Auxiliary programs on campus
• Introducing new students to Auxiliary Services locations and amenities

The Auxiliary Summer Ambassador serves as a key representative of UGA Auxiliary Services, helping to educate first-year students, transfer students, and their supporters of its services and programs. Through summer orientation sessions, ambassadors provide essential information on Auxiliary Services, including the Bookstore, Dining Services, Golf Course, Transportation and Parking Services, and Vending Services.
In this role, ambassadors actively engage with orientation visitors, support new students in their transition to campus life, and assist with major orientation events such as the Resource Fair, Orientation Breakfast and Lunch, Breakout Sessions, Presentation Sessions, and more. Additional responsibilities may include leading tours, participating in promotional events, capturing photos and videos, and contributing to digital communications efforts as needed.
This position offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership, public speaking, and customer service skills while making a meaningful impact on the UGA community.
