Role Description
This is a part-time to full-time, on-site role for an Automotive Repair Estimator at HOWARD'S PAINT AND BODY SHOP in Athens, GA. The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating vehicle damage to provide accurate repair estimates, liaising with customers and insurance adjusters, preparing work orders, and ensuring that the repair process is explained and managed effectively. The role involves attention to detail, a commitment to customer service, and a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, including evaluation of vehicle damage and repair procedures
• Practical experience with estimating software and tools used in the automotive repair industry
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time-management skills
• Knowledge of insurance claims processes is a plus
• Previous experience in auto body repair, automotive estimating, or similar roles preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are a plus
