Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Utility Training Technician, 2nd shift.
The rate for this position is $19.89 per hour. The hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm through 11:00 pm.

What you’ll do:
This role will be dedicated to maintaining training and supporting operations within the department. The ideal candidate will be a versatile floater, proficient in all roles within the department, and capable of ensuring seamless operations and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Development (70%)
• Develop, implement, update, and maintain training procedures for new and current employees.
• Refresh training materials and contribute new ideas to improve training effectiveness.
• Deliver hands‑on training and provide real‑time coaching throughout the shift.
• Evaluate employee training performance and provide feedback for new hires and contingent workers.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
• Provide ongoing support, guidance, and mentorship to employees.
Operational Support (30%)
• Support day‑to‑day operations across various roles in the department.
• Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, and operation as needed.
• Collaborate with the Group Leader, Job Setter, and Production Supervisor to meet Safety, Quality, and Production goals.
• Ensure adherence to all Quality Procedures, including Quality Alerts, process deviations, and error‑proofing requirements.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and playbooks (work instructions).
• Complete daily 5S+ tasks to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
Basic (Required):
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 Year of Experience training others.

• No Relocation is provided for this position. Applicants must reside within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood, South Carolina.
Preferred:
• 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with quality standards and inspection techniques.
• Experience in operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in slitting, cutting, and folding major insulation paper.
