Assist Project Manager Interior Designer with selection of furniture and finishes, preparation of presentation materials and oversight of installations.

Assist the Director for Space Planning and Management with furniture inventories, layouts, coordination of moves, and documentation. Duties may include direct interface with campus partners.

Position Summary:
Supports the Project Manager Interior Designer and the Director of Space Planning and Management with interior design and space management activities. Assists with front desk as needed.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position:
Candidates should be currently enrolled in a CIDA accredited Interior Design program.
Candidates should demonstrate interior design knowledge appropriate to their level of study.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies :
Possess strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Physical Demands:
Work at a computer for several hours at a time.
Travel to project locations on the Athens campus and possibly to other locations in the state.
Stooping, bending, reaching especially during project site visits.
Visiting construction sites with terrain which may be difficult to navigate.
