Griswold Home Care in Salisbury, MD which serves the Lower Eastern Shore, is looking for a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to assist with daily living tasks and provide companionship to a client in their home. This is a non-medical role that includes light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and general support to help the individual remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Hours vary between 8:00am to 4:00pm, days will vary.
Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care, companionship and social interaction
• Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, vacuuming, tidying up)
• Prepare and serve simple meals
• Support with transportation and errands such as grocery shopping, prescription pickups or doctor appointments
• Help maintain a clean and organized home environment
• Encourage and support daily routines and activities
• Report any changes in the client’s condition to family or supervisor
• Completing all documentation for each shift you work, submitting timely updates
Qualifications:
•
2+ years of previous caregiver experience preferred (personal or professional)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Patient, kind, and reliable
•
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
•
Required to be CPR Certified
• Must pass a background check
