Job Title: Aseptic Manufacturing Technician – Vaccine Production
Location: Athens, GA
Hours/Schedule: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday–Friday (OT as needed; some weekend and holiday work required)

Overview
The Aseptic Manufacturing Technician supports vaccine component preparation within a regulated clean room environment. This role performs virus and cell culture processes in compliance with USDA regulations and internal quality standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on aseptic technique experience, strong documentation discipline, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
•
Prepare vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment using virus and cell culture techniques.
•
Execute manufacturing processes in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and USDA regulations.
•
Complete and review in-process documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely recordkeeping.
•
Assist in training and coaching employees on clean room practices, aseptic techniques, and process requirements.
•
Participate in root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to address production issues.
•
Escalate and support resolution of production flow disturbances.
•
Demonstrate commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and site initiatives.
•
Support deviation management, change control activities, and site improvement projects.
•
Maintain technical data and production support documentation.
Qualifications Required
•
High School Diploma or equivalent.
•
Knowledge of clean room operations and aseptic techniques.
•
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
•
Basic math proficiency and troubleshooting ability for manufacturing equipment or automation systems.
•
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
•
Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment.
Preferred
•
Degree in Biology or related field.
•
One or more years of laboratory or manufacturing experience, preferably in a regulated environment.
