Teacher Assistant, Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader
Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leaders are peer educators who facilitate collaborative, group-based study sessions for students enrolled in historically challenging courses. SI Leaders attend the assigned course, work closely with the course instructor, and lead weekly review sessions to help students develop effective study strategies, improve understanding of course material, and enhance academic performance,Attend lectures for the assigned course section
Plan and conduct 2-3 weekly SI sessions (50-minute sessions) for enrolled students
Prepare materials, activities, and study guides to encourage active learning
Collaborate with the course instructor to ensure alignment with course objectives
