Description:
• We are seeking a Registered Dietitian for a contract position in Reading, PA.
• This role requires working onsite for 24 hours per week over three days.
• The ideal candidate will develop and implement dietary-care plans, provide nutritional counseling, and ensure compliance with nutritional standards.
Requirements:
• Assess nutritional needs and develop dietary-care plans.
• Advise on nutritional principles and diet modifications.
• Consult with healthcare personnel to determine nutritional needs.
• Participate in treatment teams as needed.
• Monitor food service operations for compliance with standards.
• Experience with eating disorders and substance abuse preferred.
• Coordinate with facility staff for menu approvals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Current registered dietitian or eligible for state endorsement.
• SERV Safe certification or similar food safety certification.
