NASAE State Staff Mentoring & Support Consultant
The National Supervisors of Agricultural Education (NASAE) is seeking a consultant to manage state staff mentoring and support. The NASAE is a group of state staff in agricultural education from across the nation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Organize and facilitate virtual onboarding and professional development modules
• Support planning and logistics for in-person site visits and annual state staff gatherings
• Maintain and update a centralized state staff resource portal
• Track participation, retention data, and program outcomes
• Collaborate with NASAE leadership, state relations specialists, and working groups
• Support mentor training and communication efforts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience in state-level agricultural education/FFA leadership
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring, training or professional development
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfort with virtual platforms and collaborative tools
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and site visits
COMPENSATION
$25,000 for the 1-year contract term (paid in monthly installments), with additional program-related travel and expenses covered through grant funding; opportunity for contract renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued grant support.
