Description
This hourly position will serve as a program assistant supporting projects related to Teacher Workshops funded by the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program (SBEP) grant.
Examples of Duties
• Assist the program director in preparing course lesson plans and materials
• Instruct students to complete course objectives
• Work with the teaching assistant to monitor student progress and attendance
• Interact and advise students
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• Master's Degree in a relevant field.
• Has a keen interest in environmental issues and science education.
• Willing to work one-on-one with K-12 teachers.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with middle school, high school, and undergraduate students.
