Job Summary:
The Production Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the accuracy of the fixed-bin replenishment system, ensuring smooth material flow on the production floor, and coordinating with internal supply chain teams. This role is essential in supporting production teams by tracking inventory levels, facilitating material movement, and maintaining an organized production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular audits of the fixed-bin replenishment system to ensure accuracy.
Monitor inventory levels and notify production teams of any out-of-stock items.
Relay information about incoming materials to the production team.
Maintain an organized and neat fixed-bin system, including the physical layout of the production floor's supermarkets.
Facilitate the movement of materials within the department to meet production needs.
Communicate effectively with the supply chain team to ensure production requirements are met.
Report findings, discrepancies, and inventory status updates to the management team.
Maintain records of change requests and any changes made to the supermarket structure in SAP or related systems.
• Additional task as required by management or production / Supply Chain demands.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience with inventory management systems or similar processes.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
