Sr. Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania. This role requires a detail-oriented individual skilled in managing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial data and supporting month-end close activities.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.
• Manage month-end close processes, including financial reporting and analysis.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording and reviewing transactions.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Support audits by providing relevant documentation and resolving queries.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all accounting activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency in financial operations.
• Monitor and update accounting procedures to align with best practices.
