Student Assistant, Teacher Workshops (SBEP grant)
This hourly position will serve as a student assistant supporting projects related to Teacher Workshops funded by the Sarasota Bay Estuary Program (SBEP) grant. ,
• Co-develop a comprehensive 5-day program to teach computational thinking with AI applications
• Co-develop hands-on activities that students can participate in to engage them further
• Create sample code templates for the attendees to work on and ease into learning
• Interact with attendees to help them through the lessons
• Document the overall pedagogical experience, lesson plans, and outcomes in a reflection report
• Other duties as assigned

• Has a keen interest in environmental issues
• Interest in science education
• Willing to work one-on-one with K-12 teachers
• Current NCF student in good standing
