Job Summary:
The Assembly Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the production team that is responsible for assembling skincare products. This position ensures seamless execution of assembly operations while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production goals. The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for team performance management, workflow optimization, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.
What You’ll Do:
• Supervise daily assembly operations to ensure quality and efficiency in assembling and packaging products.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the assembly team to achieve production goals and maintain a collaborative work environment.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to established guidelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Evaluate team performance and collaborate with appropriate department leaders to ensure accurate performance reviews and corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with the Production manager to develop and implement workflow improvements that optimize production processes.
• Manage the schedule and assignment of tasks to ensure timely completion of production targets.
• Inspect and verify components for accuracy and quality during various stages of the production process.
• Address and resolve discrepancies or production issues, escalating to the Production Manager when necessary.
• Ensure inventory levels of assembly materials are sufficient to meet production demands, and coordinate with relevant departments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, recommending and implementing strategies to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
What You Bring:
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical or vocational education preferred).
• 5 years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing, assembly, or production environment.
• Strong understanding of assembly techniques, quality control procedures, and production environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish is a requirement.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational objectives.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in using assembly tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and ability to enforce safety standards.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management, scheduling, and reporting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
