Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our millwork manufacturing facility. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of plant operations, ensuring efficient production, quality excellence, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, hands-on millwork experience, and a proven ability to drive efficiency, quality, and safety in a wood manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily plant operations , including production, assembly, and warehouse activities. Develop and execute production schedules using our ERP system to meet delivery deadlines while minimizing waste. Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet delivery and quality targets Ensure compliance with safety regulations , company policies, and industry best practices. Oversee supply chain management and analytics to ensure timely procurement of materials, inventory control, and seamless logistics coordination. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and leadership teams to support production requirements. Maintain high standards for quality control , craftsmanship, and finished product consistency Troubleshoot production issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper use of tools and machinery Assist with hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in millwork, woodworking, carpentry, or related manufacturing environment Proven supervisory experience , managing teams in a production or shop setting Strong knowledge of wood products, carpentry, assembly processes, and shop operations Experience managing multiple shifts and production schedules Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, plans, and specifications Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Comfortable working hands-on in a shop/warehouse environment Proficient with basic production reporting, inventory tracking, and scheduling tools Preferred Qualifications Prior experience as a Plant Manager, Production Manager, or Shop Manager Experience in architectural millwork, custom wood products, or casework manufacturing Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
