GIS MANAGER Position Title: GIS Manager Reports To: Operations Planner Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000 annually Position Summary The GIS Manager (GISM) provides comprehensive geospatial support for organizational planning, field operations, monitoring, and reporting activities. This role produces maps, spatial analyses, and data visualization products that enhance decision-making across all phases of a project or mission. The GISM integrates field-collected data, environmental and operational information, and geospatial technologies to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable geospatial products that support efficient and informed operational execution. Key Responsibilities GIS Production & Analysis Develop maps for sectoring, haul routing, TDSR locations, hazard areas, and operational zones. Maintain geospatial datasets and integrate ADMS and LOADM spatial data. Operational Support Support the Operations Planner with spatial inputs for mobilization, logistics, and phasing plans. Provide geospatial updates to field teams and leadership to support mission decision-making. Data Management Ensure GIS deliverables meet contract requirements and USACE data standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geomatics, Environmental Science, or related field. Minimum 7 years of GIS experience supporting emergency response, environmental, or construction operations. ESRI ArcGIS certification or equivalent proficiency (required).
