Under the direction of the Director of Food Services, the Food Service Manager, you’ll take ownership of all food service operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. This role is ideal for a dependable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. What You’ll Do: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, hotline operations, and guest service. Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure quality, safety and consistency. Supervise, train, and coach team members to deliver excellent customer service. Manage staff scheduling, labor budget, and product ordering to ensure efficiency and cost control. Train new kitchen team members and ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling and sanitation regulations. Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen processes, equipment, food prep and hotline areas to maintain high standards. Step into any team members’ roles when necessary to cover absence, shortages or high-volume periods. Lead by example, ensuring smooth and effective kitchen operations. What We’re Looking For: Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment. Inventory Supply Management Knowledge of Dietary restrictions Health Department Compliance (inspections, food handling) Budgeting and cost control Excellent leadership, coaching, interpersonal and training skills. Solid knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. ServSafe Certification Bilingual Highly preferred Computer proficiency (POS, spreadsheets, scheduling software) Experience and Education: Prior experience managing kitchen and front of the house operations High school education or equivalent Degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or Business Administration highly preferred; 2 years' experience in Food Service Management (Supervisor Role) in lieu of degree Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
