We’re Building Our 2026 to 2027 Faculty Team Stage Door Studios and Stage Door University are preparing for our 20th season, and we are thoughtfully expanding our team across both locations in Sarasota. As our programs grow, we are looking for teachers who care deeply about kids, love their craft, and want to be part of something bigger than just teaching classes. We are currently hiring in two key areas: Recreational Dance Instructors We are seeking part time teachers for weekday afternoons and evenings. Strong training in jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap, hip hop, or acro is preferred. A heart for working with young dancers ages 2 through 7 is a huge plus. If you thrive in a structured environment with clear curriculum and strong front desk support, you will feel right at home here. Advanced Competition Faculty We are also looking for experienced, high level instructors to train and choreograph for our competitive dancers. Ideal candidates have strong technical backgrounds, choreography experience, and a passion for mentoring serious dancers who are committed to growth and excellence. Experience teaching upper level jazz, contemporary, lyrical, ballet, or specialty technique is strongly preferred.
