Job Summary We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind smooth kitchen operations, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. From managing daily food production to supervising staff and maintaining safety protocols, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding dining experiences. Responsibilities Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and excellence. Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Coordinate with the catering and banquet departments to deliver seamless service during large events. Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in menu planning and develop new recipes that align with our culinary vision. Manage shift schedules, monitor food quality, and handle customer feedback to continuously improve service. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining environments with strong kitchen management skills. Extensive background in food production, catering, and restaurant operations. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Knowledge of dietary department standards, food safety practices, and inventory management techniques. Skilled in food handling, preparation, cooking techniques, and food service management. Familiarity with banquet experience, event catering, and shift management is highly desirable. Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills to coordinate seamlessly across departments.
