Aquatic Management Technician Important: This position involves working outdoors more than 80% of the time . If you’ve never worked in the Florida summer heat or don’t think you can handle it, do not apply . We’re looking for a self-starter and responsible individual to join our team as a Aquatic Management Technician. This is a hands-on field position that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities: Mix and apply restricted-use pesticides safely and in compliance with regulations ( “the label is the law” ) Identify aquatic plants and algae species Operate in high-heat environments on a daily basis Perform work using boats, ATVs/UTVs, and backpack sprayers Preferred Experience: Lake, preserve, or wetland management Familiarity with aquatic ecosystems and vegetation control Note: We are willing to train the right highly motivated candidate. Requirements: Must have a clean driving record Willing and able to work long hours in the Florida summer heat Comfortable working independently and outdoors in rugged conditions Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Flexible schedule Paid time off Work Location: In person
