Service Manager - Material Handling Equipment Dealership
We are seeking an experienced, motivated service manager to maximize customer satisfaction and oversee our busy service department. Someone with a forklift or heavy equipment repair background is preferred.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage daily service operations including dispatch of field technicians and scheduling of shop technicians.
Confer with customers as required for problem/solution resolution and proper supervision of equipment repair and maintenance. Prepare quotations for repairs.
Train existing technicians on new procedures and techniques. Oversee shop repairs for accuracy.
Train and mentor new employees in service department.
Promote safety and enforce safety rules regarding disposal of waste, cleanliness of work area and use of personal protective equipment.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain positive communications with service staff and company managers.
Develop strong product line knowledge to actively assist customers in making informed equipment maintenance and service decisions.
Prepare and submit warranty claims. Oversee the successful completion of manufacturer recalls, service bulletins and field campaigns.
Attend factory authorized training and web training in order to continually update knowledge of equipment repairs and procedures.

COMPENSATION: Salary based on experience, paid weekly via direct deposit
