Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Catering Manager at the Venice Yacht Club, located in Venice, FL. The Catering Manager will oversee and coordinate catering operations, plan and manage events, supervise catering and food service staff, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. They will work closely with clients to customize menus, manage budgets, and maintain the exceptional quality for which the club is known. The role also involves managing relationships with vendors and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Catering, Food Service, and Food & Beverage management
• Strong Customer Service skills and ability to create a positive guest experience
• Experience in Cooking and knowledge of menu planning
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment
• Previous experience in a hospitality or private club setting is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred
