Job Title: Electromechanical Technician Job Description Join our team as an Industrial Electromechanical Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving facility systems and equipment. Responsibilities • Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facility systems and equipment.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair work, focusing on variable frequency drives (VFD) and three-phase systems up to 480V.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance and operational efficiency.
• Document preventative maintenance activities and repairs, ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members on general maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning equipment, including PLCs such as Allen Bradley, SLC 500, and RS Logix.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, utilizing strong troubleshooting skills.
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform complex repairs and preventive maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
Essential Skills • Electrical troubleshooting experience, including VFD and three-phase systems up to 480V.
• Journeyman-level experience in electrical maintenance, although a license is not required.
• Solid understanding of industrial electronics and electrical components, including PLCs and motor control systems.
• 3-5 years of experience with industrial electronics in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with steam systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, repair manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams.
• Strong communication skills and proven commitment to safety.
• Willingness to work overtime and be on-call as needed.
• Comfort with working at heights and ability to differentiate colors for wire coding.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and walk extensively throughout the plant.
• Attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and self-motivation.

Work Environment Work in a normal manufacturing environment where you'll regularly be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and the risk of electrical shock. Occasionally, you may work in high or precarious places, with a moderate noise level. The team consists of 7 maintenance members, emphasizing collaboration and safety. Saturdays are voluntary, and the shifts are from 7-3:30 pm or 8-4:30 pm, with a 3rd shift differential offered.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MORGANTOWN, PA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.98/hr.
