Position Summary:
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential and commercial properties. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to safety and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
•
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
•
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
•
Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment safely and effectively.
•
Provide excellent customer service while working on-site with clients.
•
Ensure all work meets electrical codes and safety standards.
Qualifications
•
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in electrical work.
•
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and troubleshooting methods.
•
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
•
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
•
Ability to stand for extended periods.
•
Capability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments.
•
Comfortable using hand, power, and electrical tools daily.
