Job Title: Switchgear Design Engineer
Location: Greenwood, South Carolina (On-site)
Job Summary: We are seeking an engineering professional to support manufacturing and production objectives within this organization. Our team fosters collaboration, innovation, and commitment to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity across all engineering functions.
Responsibilities
• Interpret customer drawings and specifications for manufacturing and related products.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and instruction to production personnel.
• Create engineering documentation for drafting, procurement, and manufacturing operations.
• Participate in product design reviews, customer meetings, and inspections to ensure compliance and quality.
Experience/Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of design or manufacturing experience in switchgear assembly.
• Experience with AutoCAD and familiarity with production systems including Office 365, Teams, AS400, POM, ENOVIA, and related platforms.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and provide engineering solutions in a manufacturing environment.
