Athens Real Estate Group is looking for an Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for a variety of electrical tasks and will play a key role during the Athens “Turn” that takes place this summer. The ideal candidate for this position is customer service-driven, reliable, and committed to consistently meeting deadlines. In all tasks, strive to preserve the value of the properties we manage. Roles and Responsibilities Assist with electrical maintenance operations and repairs of the property Diagnose and repair electrical issues in residential units and common areas Complete work orders in a timely manner Accurately document time, materials, and labor, including detailed notes/photos regarding repairs, electronically and in real time Perform preventative electrical maintenance Identify and address safety and security risks related to electrical systems Inspect the physical condition of electrical systems and report any problems to the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager Complete property inspections, including electrical safety checks Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with organizing and implementing a successful turn Ensure confidentiality of resident and company information Maintain active and effective communication with both our residents and our diverse team Be available on weekends and after hours for emergency calls Report time and attendance Requirements 2 years of experience in electrical work (residential and/or multi-family preferred) Must have excellent communication and people skills Electrical certification/license preferred (as applicable) Ability to be on call Ability to use hands, tools, and machinery Ability to stoop, kneel, climb, crawl, etc., as it pertains to duties Ability to lift heavy objects Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour Experience: Maintenance: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
