Job Summary The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for making outbound calls to existing customers to retain accounts, renew services, and generate additional sales, including Home Health Checkups, with a focus on customers who did not renew in the previous month. This role drives revenue through consistent outbound activity, educates customers on company services, manages accounts through service coordination and follow-up, and ensures accurate documentation, adherence to pricing guidelines, and timely collection of fees. The Inside Sales Account Manager supports the company’s mission and values by delivering professional, ethical, and service-focused interactions while meeting established performance and revenue goals. Duties · Effectively market and sell company products and services · Clearly explain services to be rendered, including treatment methods and expectations · Adhere to all established pricing guidelines unless otherwise authorized by the Sales Manager · Coordinate initial service delivery following the completion of a sale · Accurately complete all required documentation, including file notes, graphs, and supporting materials · Collect payment for services rendered in accordance with company policies · Achieve commission earnings based on a graduated scale tied to the dollar value of annualized services sold, completed, and collected monthly · Maintain company equipment, materials, and records in a clean, organized, and professional manner · Complete a minimum of 50-75 documented sales-related calls per day · Demonstrate discipline and consistency in executing daily sales call activity · Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the Sales Manager in a timely manner · Conduct follow-up calls on all outstanding proposals and sales opportunities to drive closure and customer satisfaction Requirements · High school diploma or equivalent required · Minimum of 3–5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the pest control industry · Knowledge of pests, fungi, and other wood-destroying organisms and appropriate treatment methods · Strong sales, marketing, and customer relationship–building skills, including upselling · Ability to read, interpret, and prepare inspection reports, diagrams, and service documentation · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities · Ability to work independently while adhering to company procedures and performance standards · Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills · Technical proficiency with computers, office software, and company service management systems · Commitment to ongoing, self-directed professional development in sales · Understanding of sales strategies and methodologies as defined by the Sales Manager · Completion of all state-mandated continuing education requirements This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals eager to contribute to a growing organization while developing their skills in a fast-paced sales environment.
