Aftermarket Sales Specialist – Classic Cars Job Summary We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Aftermarket Sales Specialist to drive sales of aftermarket products and upgrades for classic and vintage vehicles. This role focuses on helping customers enhance performance, comfort, reliability, and appearance while preserving the character of classic cars. The ideal candidate has strong automotive knowledge, a passion for classic cars, and proven sales ability. Key Responsibilities Sell aftermarket products including (but not limited to) performance upgrades, suspension, brakes, wheels/tires, interiors, electronics, climate systems, and cosmetic enhancements as well as warranty financing and insurance. Consult with customers to identify needs, recommend appropriate upgrades, and build customized aftermarket packages Work closely with sales staff, service technicians, and restoration teams to ensure accurate quotes and successful installations Prepare estimates, proposals, and invoices for aftermarket products and labor Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aftermarket brands, trends, and classic-car-specific solutions Track leads, follow up with customers, and close sales Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction before, during, and after installation Maintain organized records of sales, margins, and inventory as required Represent the dealership professionally at events, shows, or customer meetings when needed Assist with any and all needs at the dealership as needed Qualifications Strong passion for classic cars and automotive customization Proven sales experience (automotive sales preferred) Solid understanding of automotive systems (engine, suspension, braking, electrical, interiors, etc. Ability to explain technical products in a clear, customer-friendly manner Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Comfortable working with pricing, margins, and upselling value-added solutions Preferred Experience Experience selling aftermarket or performance automotive products Background in classic car restoration, customization, or specialty dealerships Familiarity with major aftermarket brands and suppliers CRM or dealership management system experience Compensation Base salary plus commission (structure based on experience) Potential bonuses tied to aftermarket sales performance Expected salary (50-100K) Work Environment Dealership showroom and service environment Interaction with high-end and enthusiast clientele Full time, in person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
