Job Summary The Packaging Technician I is responsible for supporting the packaging operations within a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards. This role involves operating packaging equipment, maintaining quality standards, and assisting with assembly and mechanical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and experience with warehouse or manufacturing environments. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to ensure efficient and compliant packaging processes. Responsibilities Operate and monitor packaging machinery, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to production schedules Assist with assembly tasks related to packaging components and equipment setup Utilize hand tools for minor repairs, adjustments, or maintenance of packaging equipment Follow FDA regulations and CGMP guidelines to maintain product integrity and safety standards Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure compliance with specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and hygiene standards Support warehouse activities such as inventory management, material handling, and forklift operation as needed Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and tools Requirements Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments preferred Mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus Knowledge of FDA regulations and CGMP standards applicable to pharmaceutical or food manufacturing Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols Prior experience with assembly processes is advantageous Must be able to work in compliance with all safety guidelines and company policies ET_RV01 Job Types: Temporary, Contract Pay: $19.28 per hour Experience: Packaging: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
