Job Title: Mixer/Scaler Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Mixers/Scalers. This role involves working with large quantities of product, measuring them into smaller batches, and repackaging into smaller containers. Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to train on mixing machines as they become proficient.
Responsibilities • Follow written instructions to measure and package products.
• Operate mixing machines after training.
• Add the correct amount of ingredients to produce batters.
• Lift and move items weighing 50 to 75 lbs throughout the shift.
Essential Skills • Experience in mixing, scaling, or batching is preferred.
• Strong math skills.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications • No formal education required.
• Must have production/manufacturing experience.

Work Environment The work environment requires wearing non-slip, oil-resistant shoes, clean t-shirts, and jeans. Scrubs will be provided to wear over street clothes. Punctuality and reliable attendance are crucial during the temporary period. Shift hours are as follows: 1st Shift: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, 2nd Shift: 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm, 3rd Shift: 9:00 pm to 5:30 am. The 3rd shift starts on Sunday night and runs through Friday morning.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
