Company Description:
SPG Land Surveyors is a licensed land surveying firm serving residential and commercial clients across Georgia, with offices in Watkinsville and Hartwell. We deliver precise, dependable surveying services while building strong, trust-based relationships with clients and communities. Our team is relationship-driven and locally connected, operating with a collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach that brings surveying, planning, engineering, and design together seamlessly. We value clear communication, personal responsibility, and practical problem-solving, and we push for excellence while staying focused on results. Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all solutions, we tailor our work to each site and project, prioritizing long-term value and thoughtful execution. Our services range from boundary and topographic surveys to subdivisions, site plans, ALTA surveys, FEMA documentation, and specialized surveys for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers owned lakes, including Lake Hartwell. At SPG, we take pride in delivering work that is accurate, efficient, and done with excellence.

The Survey Project Manager works closely with field crews and internal teams to coordinate project workflows, maintain schedules and budgets, and uphold quality across all survey deliverables. This role includes overseeing survey projects from initiation through completion, supervising and training field crews, maintaining project documentation, and tracking budgets and timelines. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, in-office environment. Clear communication, sound judgment, and a high standard of professionalism are essential to meeting client expectations and supporting the continued growth of the surveying division.

This position is primarily based in a professional office environment (normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM) and involves regular use of standard office equipment. Physical demands are generally light, but limited field work may be required as needed. Field duties may involve walking on uneven terrain and exposure to outdoor conditions. The ability to safely perform these functions and meet applicable safety requirements is required.
Travel:
This position is based primarily in the Watkinsville office and will require regular travel between the Watkinsville and Hartwell offices as part of the normal work schedule. Travel between an employee’s home and either office location is considered a normal commute and is not eligible for mileage reimbursement. Additional travel may be required for field activities or other work-related needs. Any travel beyond normal commuting will follow Company travel and reimbursement policies.
