Position Summary
As a Contents Technician, you will support restoration projects by managing job documentation, maintaining accurate records, and assisting field teams with both administrative and hands-on contents handling tasks. This role includes packing, moving, inventorying, and organizing customer belongings during restoration projects. You will work closely with field and office teams to keep projects organized, compliant, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date and accurate job information within the company CRMMonitor active jobs and ensure documentation, notes, and photos are currentUpload and organize job details, photos, and reports using CRM and Google SheetsAssist with on-site job tasks and support lead technicians as neededDocument job progress using a phone or tabletFollow established workflows and company procedures to ensure consistency and accuracyCollaborate with field and office teams to support efficient project completion Pack, wrap, inventory, and label customer contents for transport and storage Move furniture, boxes, and household items safely and efficientlyAssist with load-out and pack-back of contents at job sitesMaintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and contents warehouseFollow proper handling procedures to protect customer propertyCommunicate professionally with teammates and customersFollow all safety, quality, and professionalism standardsPerform other duties as assigned to support restoration and contents operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience working in a CRM or job tracking system preferredBasic proficiency with Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Trello or similar toolsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsTeachable and open to learning new processesReliable, punctual, and comfortable working under directionCustomer service or restoration industry experience preferredValid driver’s license preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularlyFrequent bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and moving furniture or boxesWork in residential and commercial job sites, warehouses, and storage environmentsUse of PPE and exposure to water-damaged or restoration environments
