Duties
Prepare individual, business, and corporate tax returns accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulationsConduct thorough analysis of financial statements and records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or other industry-standard toolsManage bookkeeping tasks including data entry, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance to support client financial healthAssist in the development of financial reports and forecasts to aid clients in strategic decision-makingProvide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionallySupport marketing efforts by identifying opportunities for financial sales and client engagementUtilize strong analysis skills to identify discrepancies or potential issues in financial data and recommend solutions
Experience
Proven experience in public accounting or a similar accounting environment with a focus on tax preparation and financial analysisDemonstrated proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or comparable platformsSolid understanding of financial concepts, corporate accounting practices, and technical accounting standardsExperience with bookkeeping, payroll processing, and basic math skills including 10 key typing accuracyFamiliarity with tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures is highly desirableStrong customer service orientation with excellent communication skillsAbility to analyze complex financial data accurately while maintaining attention to detail
