Commercial Finance Analyst
About the Role
The Commercial Financial Analyst will drive high performance within the business unit by analyzing commercial activity against market trends, ensuring pricing accuracy, and implementing processes to support the commercial team within a constantly evolving environment.
What You'll Do
• Analyze and report on commercial performance on a weekly basis for our customers globally.
• Assist the commercial team in accurately and expediently completing bid execution.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and implement pricing strategies.
• Ensure commercial consistency across all regions and customers.
• Conduct competitor analysis to understand market size, market share, and market opportunities.
• Monitor order intake and backlog for customers and communicate demand to impacted stakeholders within the business.
• Provide detailed monthly updates on performance vs. Forecast and Prior Year. Identify trends and communicate their impact on the business.
• Propose and implement system improvements across the organization.
• Possess strong business acumen to perform global cost analysis of various vendors and suppliers, build effective cost models, and identify potential growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to build business cases and present the analysis effectively.
Additional Expectations
• Remain compliant with the company's Code of Conduct and Policies, which includes the parent group Compliance Policy.
• Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
• Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
• Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistleblower service.
What You'll Bring
• A bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Professional certification is a plus (not mandatory), and candidates with prior large accounting firm training are strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a finance function with a commercial focus.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
• Succinct communication skills that provide clear and unambiguous direction throughout the business.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and logical mindset which allows you to anticipate problems and implement systems to prevent issues occurring.
• Skilled in bringing people together to achieve a common goal.

• Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering company.
