Key Responsibilities
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Strengthen internal controls and refine accounting policies
• Manage audit processes and collaborate with external auditors
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
• Provide leadership with insights that inform operational and strategic decisions
• Improve reporting processes, systems, and workflows
Who Will Thrive In This Role
• CPA required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Background in public accounting or corporate accounting (public + industry mix welcome)
• Experience in manufacturing, energy, utilities, or distribution is a plus—not required
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Advanced Excel; ERP experience helpful
• Clear communicator with the confidence to partner with leadership
