Job Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Estimator - Drywall role located in Frederick, MD. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for the preconstruction process for drywall, metal framing, and interior system projects by analyzing drawings, conducting detailed quantity take-offs, and calculating labor/material costs to produce accurate, competitive bids. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications and blueprints, preparing competitive bids, maintaining documentation, and managing budgets. Strong communication and coordination with project teams and clients are essential to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in drywall cost estimation, pricing, and project budgetingExperience in the Washington D.C. Metro market is a bonusProficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction project specificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project scope and identify cost-effective solutionsEffective communication, collaboration, and client management skillsExperience with estimation software tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of industry regulations and safety standards is an advantage
