Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ESS\u00a0division is currently seeking a\u00a0Quality Inspector - 2nd shift.\u00a0
The hourly rate for this position is\u00a0$18.94\u00a0per hour.

What you\u2019ll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Perform a variety of specific and detailed (form, fit and function) inspections which are required by Customers to ensure their product meets or exceeds specifications, requiring selection of inspection equipment, methods, procedures and techniques appropriate to the product and Customer expectations. \u00a0Perform final inspection of completed assemblies, raw material and purchased parts. \u00a0\u00a0

This position will train on 1st shift then move to 2nd shift as home shift.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- \u00a0 \u00a0Make certain all checklists, red tags and written process changes are complete and cleared by certified personnel signatures. \u00a0Notify area supervisors, production managers and others as required of problems in a timely manner to resolve CAR\u2019s prior to shipment due dates.
- \u00a0 \u00a0Collect defect information per product and track for appropriate long term resolutions to CAR\u2019s.
- \u00a0 \u00a0Keep records on all defect information to establish historical database
- \u00a0 \u00a0Properly use and maintain inspection equipment.
- \u00a0 \u00a0Review drawings and examine structures to isolate defects and utilize all appropriate resources such as supervisors, production managers, engineers and product managers.
- \u00a0 \u00a0Support problem solving and continuous improvement efforts\u00a0
- \u00a0 \u00a0Observe all safety and hygiene requirements as specified or directed. \u00a0Maintain a clean, orderly and safe workplace.
- \u00a0 \u00a0Verify assembly work completion to the specification
- \u00a0 \u00a0Reject parts withhold tags received from work areas are inspected to verify nonconformance. \u00a0If a nonconformance exists, all items must be inspected and corrective action taken according to established procedures.
- \u00a0 \u00a0Properly utilize and maintain inspection measuring equipment.
- \u00a0 \u00a0Pull drawings, isolate the part defect and notify engineers, drafters, buyers, coordinators, supervisors, vendors, etc.
- \u00a0 \u00a0Comply with the environment, health, and safety guidelines.
- \u00a0 \u00a0Move material utilizing a pallet jack
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0High School diploma or G.E.D.
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a01 year of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship

\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization and with Customers
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Skilled at using a computer with prior experience using the Internet, Technical Systems Platforms, SAP and Microsoft Office tools
\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Ability to read and interpret drawings, measure parts, read digital and analog measuring devices, and calculate measurement variances against a specification\u00a0
