Payroll Manager, Local Contract, Sarasota, FL - 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (occasional hours past 5 if needed)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Must be a US Citizen!
Weekend Work: Possible, but rare
Dress Code: Business Casual
Work Setting: In Office Only
Start Date: ASAP
Bill Rate: $65.55 - $70.67

Position Summary
The Accountant/Payroll Manager will oversee all payroll operations and provide full coverage during the Workday
HR/Payroll system implementation. This is a highly hands-on role requiring strong proficiency with the UKG payroll
application, solid experience as a Payroll Manager, and deep expertise in payroll tax processing, including multistate and
interstate filings. The position ensures accuracy, compliance, and seamless coordination across HR and Finance teams

Qualifications
• Proven experience in payroll management, accounting, or related financial operations.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Proficiency with the UKG payroll software application.
• Experience with HRIS or payroll systems; Workday experience is a plus.
• Skilled in payroll reconciliation, reporting, and audit ready documentation.
• Ability to manage sensitive employee data with discretion and accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Familiarity with year-end payroll processes, including W2 preparation and compliance processes, including W-2
preparation.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, HR, or related field preferred.
