Role Description
Alvernia University is seeking a full-time, on-site Director of the MBA Program to oversee its successful operation in Reading, PA. The Director will be responsible for managing the overall structure and strategy of the program, leading recruiting efforts, and implementing plans to enhance the program’s growth and reputation. Key tasks include program management, strategic planning, coordinating recruitment strategies, training faculty and students, and managing related projects. The individual in this role will collaborate with university staff and faculty to ensure the MBA program aligns with institutional goals.
Qualifications
• Expertise in Program Management, including program development, evaluation, and effective administration
• Skills in Strategic Planning and Project Management with the ability to achieve long-term goals and execute key initiatives
• Experience in Recruiting, including enrollment and student outreach efforts
• Proven capabilities in Training and mentoring both staff and students for academic and professional development
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Master's degree in business, education, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
• Experience in academic program leadership preferred
