Building on its history of innovation, Carpenter’s wrought and powder technology capabilities support a range of next-generation products and manufacturing techniques, including novel magnetic materials and additive manufacturing.  Analyst II PPIS - MTCPrimary Responsibilities:   The Analyst II PPIS supports the planning, coordination, and scheduling of production activities to help ensure products move through the manufacturing process efficiently and on time. This role works closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to assist with schedule updates, inventory needs, and daily workflow coordination. The Analyst II helps identify potential issues and communicates with team members to maintain smooth operations.Assist in preparing and updating production schedules based on customers orders, material availability, and production capacity. Monitor schedule progress and communicate changes to the production team. Support forecasting and capacity-planning activities as needed.Inventory Coordination: Help maintain inventory levels by tracking raw materials, components, and work-in-progress items. Work with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of materials. Maintain accurate records of WIP, including fixture, and report discrepancies to leadership.Process Workflow Support: Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, and shipping teams to support the smooth movement of products through each production stage. Identify basic workflow issues and escalate concerns appropriately.Shipment Coordination: Plan and coordinate shipment schedules in alignment with production completion dates.  Ensure products are shipped on time to meet customer delivery deadlines.  Collaborate with the logistics team and third-party carriers to optimize delivery routes and schedules.Continuous Improvement Participation: Participate in process‑improvement discussions and support implementation of best practices in scheduling, planning, and inventory control. Provide data or observations to help improve production efficiency and reduce delays.Daily goal tracking: Assist with daily tracking of goals for each work center and help prepare routine reports. Support weekend reporting responsibilities as assigned.Contribute to lean initiatives directed by management or engineering by gathering data, helping prepare documentation, or assisting with process reviewsPerform all other duties and special projects as assigned.Position Requirements  High School diploma required.
