Quality Control Technician
Our client, a pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their team! This will be a onsite role working out of their office in Athens, Georgia. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree, with background in quality control.
• Role Overview:
• Contract Role: Approx. 11 months
• Pay: $22.00/hr on W2
Responsibilities:
• Executes essential quality tests following SOPs and GMP standards, specifically focusing on water testing and environmental monitoring (viable/non-viable air and surface sampling) within aseptic manufacturing areas.
• Manages the full lifecycle of lab tasks, including equipment maintenance, media preparation, autoclave operation, and the accurate entry of results into data management systems.
• Maintains a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols while assisting with specialized protocol testing and contaminant identification under general supervision.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree, with Microbiology focus preferred.
• Skilled in core laboratory techniques, including bacterial colony enumeration, gram staining, and the application of microbial control principles.
• Experienced in cleanroom operations and aseptic techniques, with the physical and technical ability to meet rigorous aseptic gowning qualification standards.
• Proficient in LIMS and Microsoft Office applications, complemented by a collaborative approach to teamwork and the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
