Position Summary
Under the direction of the Communications Manager at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia at UGA, this part-time student position in communications will be responsible for conducting audio interviews for a project cataloging the garden’s history.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position
A qualified candidate for this position should have a strong background in interviewing and audio recording. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are expected. Flexibility for travel and to work weekends and nights.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies
Applicants who would be mutually beneficial for the position include journalism majors with an interest in or experience in oral history and interviewing, or museum studies majors with experience conducting interviews.
