Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:AttachedWhat you will do: A highly skilled healthcare professional who provides anatomic pathology services under the direction and supervision of a pathologist.This role is responsible for the gross examination, dissection, and description of surgical specimens, as well as assisting in postmortem examination, specimen photograph, and teaching support.The Pathologist Assistant ensures high quality specimen processing that supports accurate diagnosis and patient care.What you will need:Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP-PA) required, Pathologist Assistant by examination accepted by the State of Georgia or eligible.Education: Master’s degree from a NAACLS- Accredited Pathologist Assistant program required.
