Technical Sales Representative

We are seeking a results-driven, consultative Technical Sales Representative to develop client relationships and expand our presence in the Athens and Atlanta region. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives on building connections, delivering value, and contributing to food safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, contact, and convert prospective clients into long-term partners
• Introduce AEMTEK’s food safety and laboratory services tailored to client needs
• Respond promptly to leads from trade shows, inbound calls, and online inquiries
• Track and report sales activities and progress
• Maintain strong client relationships and help to provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate closely with laboratory and management teams through in-person meetings
• Represent AEMTEK at trade shows, conferences, and client visits across the Eastern U.S
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1+ years of proven success in sales (technical or scientific sales preferred)
• Familiarity with food and beverage manufacturing, food safety needs, and laboratory testing methods
Skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Excellent selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Effective time management, organization, and follow-up practices
• Proficiency with MS Office; CRM experience a plus
