Job Responsibilities To provide nursing instruction, instructional development, assessment functions to include program learning outcomes and student learning outcomes, student recruitment, enrollment and registration, student advising, and retention efforts for the Nursing program. Focus is on didactic, laboratory and clinical activities required to implement and carry-on the Nursing curriculum.
Minimum and Additional Requirements Faculty teaching associate degree courses designed for transfer to the baccalaureate degree: doctor's or master’s degree in the teaching discipline, Nursing, or master’s with a concentration in teaching discipline (min. 18 graduate semester hrs. in the teaching discipline, Nursing) from a regionally accredited school. Hold unencumbered active license as RN in SC & have two years clinical experience as an RN.
Preferred Qualifications Prefer 2 years teaching experience at the technical/community college or vocational school level.
