Janitor Minimum Years Experience: One year Minimum Certification Requirements, if applicable: NA Experience Substitution for Education (If allowed): Yes Job Summary Work involves a variety of the following duties: Stripping, waxing buffing, sweeping, operation of floor maintenance and other cleaning equipment Cleaning restrooms Vacuuming High and low dusting Waste removal Other duties as assigned. The following tasks are typical of this occupation: Performs tasks, which require physical abilities and effort involving little or no specialized skill or prior work experience. Moves and arranges heavy pieces of office and household furniture, equipment, and appliances Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Required by the Position: Must have experience that includes stripping and waxing. Must be able to routinely lift 50 lbs Supervisory Controls: Reports to Lead Laborer Janitor Guidelines: Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers. Responds to on site customer request Pay is $20.13 Hourly pay//Fringe $6.87 Vacation 80 Hours a year – Eligible for 40 hours after 6 months then final 40 after 1 year Personal/sick 56 hours a year Hours: 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
