Lab Technician Location: Athens, GA Contract: 6–36 Months Pay: $15–$20/hour (W-2) Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (OT, weekends, and holidays as required) Requirement: Rabies vaccine (mandatory) Role Summary Responsible for preparing vaccine components in an aseptic cleanroom environment using virus and cell culture techniques in compliance with USDA regulations. Key Responsibilities Execute processes per SOPs and support training of new and existing employees. Complete and review in-process documentation accurately and on time. Participate in root cause analysis, CAPA, and escalation of production issues. Maintain strong commitment to EHS programs and continuous improvement initiatives (AAI). Support site projects, including deviations and change control activities. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (Biology or related degree preferred). 1+ year of laboratory and/or manufacturing experience preferred. Knowledge of cleanroom and aseptic techniques. Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
