Summary As a Shift Leader at Pei Wei Asian Kitchen, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations during your shift. You will lead the team to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the quality and freshness of our dishes. Your leadership will be key to creating a positive dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift to ensure efficiency and quality. Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service. Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain Pei Wei’s high standards. Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions at the POS system. Assist in training new staff members on food service protocols and customer interaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant management roles. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and staff alike. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
